DMM created and patented Peltrox from steel resistance and the hot and vintage aspect of pewter. The moth-eaten effect created a 3D effect to the metal, even in terms of colour, amplifying the different tones between light and dark parts. The protected version of Peltrox lends a higher scratch resistance to the material, making it suitable for home furnishing. Protected Moth-Eaten Peltrox aesthetics stays the same of the glass-lined version, with an extra layer of lucidity with respect to Peltrox.
