DMM is among the winners of the SMAU Innovation Award, a recognition that highlights Italian companies capable of integrating digital technologies into their processes in a concrete and strategic way.

SMAU is one of the leading Italian platforms dedicated to innovation and collaboration between companies, startups, public institutions, and research centers. Every year, it selects and rewards projects that represent virtuous examples of digital transformation, with the aim of giving visibility to organizations that invest in innovation and competitiveness.

The project for which DMM received the award is the Digital Twin, a system that uses laser scanners and artificial intelligence to digitize handcrafted metal finishes and reproduce them through laser engraving.
This initiative is part of the company’s broader technological development journey and was carried out with the support of the EU co-funded call “Technological and digital transition of production processes and organizational structure.”

Being awarded by SMAU is a recognition of the value of the choices DMM has made over the years: an approach to innovation driven by real needs, resulting in applicable, scalable, and sustainable solutions.
