To create a real brass staircase, with the complexity of linear and curved parapets and handrails, for an iconic location such as the shop in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele in Milan, with the aim of combining the timeless elegance of brass with the sophistication of design, creating a harmonious dialogue with the surrounding architecture.

The three-storey work was a highly complex engineering and craftsmanship challenge. Each floor was designed to integrate perfectly with its surroundings, creating a fluid and continuous pathway that enhances the entire structure

The real brass handrails and parapets, with their curved and complex shapes, were made possible thanks to the use of a laser scanner. This technology allowed us to obtain an extremely precise 3D scan of the environment, thus guaranteeing detailed design and flawless realisation.

The geometric complexity of the shapes, combined with the need to ensure maximum precision and strength, required not only the use of cutting-edge technology but also craftsmanship of the highest level.

To ensure the perfection of the shapes, we made full-scale templates, which allowed us to verify the correctness of the design before final production.

Thanks to purpose-built customised supports, we were able to realise the customised finish in Protected Oxidised Brass on each element of the staircase, guaranteeing an impeccable aesthetic result and long life.

We completed the work by accurately and precisely installing the oxidised brass handrails and parapets, perfectly integrated into the existing staircase.
