The Material Rhythm of Three-Dimensional Stainless Steel
The striking presence of a seamless surface.
The striking presence of a seamless surface.
The challenge
The goal was to create an island that becomes the focal point of the space, combining a strong visual presence with absolute precision through a bespoke finish distinguished by its rich material character.
The project features an island counter measuring H1000 × W3000 × D600 mm in the Inox Golden Wave finish, comprising six doors with three internal compartments in lacquered wood, glass shelves, and metal legs finished in Colore Glitter Bronzo, with integrated LED lighting directed toward the floor.
The design intent was to achieve a clean, monolithic volume in which every material interacts with absolute precision and every detail contributes to a continuous, harmonious composition.
The geometry of the three-dimensional finish had to flow seamlessly across doors, side panels, and cladding, while metal, wood, glass, and lighting required perfectly aligned junctions and rigorous proportions.
This level of complexity demanded advanced technical engineering, precise execution, and the ability to integrate different materials into a single, cohesive design language.
Crafting the Inox Golden Wave finish also required exceptional craftsmanship to achieve a continuous, uniform three-dimensional surface with flawless alignment across every component.
The result
