Glamour, charm, originality

Set up a coffee bar, located in the heart of Bari, which was characterized by a structural reinforced concrete beam that penalized a barrel vault in “pietra leccese”: it couldn’t be demolished, so we decorated it with metal furnishing elements, respecting the design concept.

The innovative solution of turning the obstacle into an aesthetic opportunity came during a meeting with the designer. The result was a bar with an original and fascinating design. The beam became the base for a 6×5 meters chandelier, composed of hundreds of polished brass and bronze hanging tubes with LEDs on their ends. These tubes were made in different heights, creating the proper light effects.

The mounting system was designed in detail, so that each tube was placed in the correct position to overcome the various irregularities of the vaulted ceiling, creating a telescopic suspension system.

The tubes became the leading characters of the room where, as well as the chandelier, we made the front covering of the counter, a boiserie, some bases and some chandeliers of smaller dimensions with tubes in polished brass and glitter bronze.

An original place that stands out for its modern and glamour furnishings with a unique and spectacular personality.
