Aluminum and glass display cabinet

Completely transparent and with a contemporary style

The challenge

Minimal, thin, transparent

Build a display cabinet with a thin minimalist aluminum frame, where the extra-clear glass had to cover almost the whole surface, to give visibility and importance to the objects inside, which become the key characters.

To create the thin aluminum frame, which featured a transparent burnished pigment, we designed customized aluminum extrusion profiles, where we could fit both the hinges and the glass.

We specifically designed the stainless-steel hinges and made them in turning so that they could be inserted in this thin profile to create an almost invisible result.

Accurate assembly of all materials. In fact, during packaging, a series of thorough controls are carried out thanks to a check list to make sure the product is free of defects.

To make the packaging suitable for shipments around the world, we studied a system of “flotation” for the showcase inside the wooden crate.

The result

An iconic and apparently thin but robust display cabinet, perfect as a piece of furniture even in the center of the room, containing objects that are visible from all angles, thanks to 360° glass.
